CLARK'S 3-Step Process to Cutting Board Greatness!

A wood butcher block or cutting board can easily be the focal point of any kitchen. Often passed down through generations, culinary wood products withstand the test of time, and when cared for properly can become valued family heirlooms. Although intrinsically durable, wood used in the kitchen often take a beating and need to be well maintained to ensure lasting beauty and functionality. At CLARK'S, our top priority is the development of high quality, safe, wood care products. By following our recommended three-step cutting board care process, you are assuring that all of your favorite wood products will last for decades.

Step 1: Clean and Sanitize with CLARK’S Cutting Board Soap

If not cleaned properly, wood has the tendency to harbor germs and bacteria. By giving your wood products a quick scrub with CLARK’S Cutting Board Soap, you are greatly minimizing the risk that the food you are preparing will become contaminated. Our soap is 100% natural and made from USDA Certified Organic ingredients. CLARK'S soap is specifically formulated to be easy on wood and tough on germs and can be safely used on a wide variety of products.

Step 2: Rejuvenate and Condition with CLARK’S Cutting Board Oil

Due to the porous nature of wood it is important to maintain an impermeable barrier to prevent contamination from germs and bacteria, as well as the absorption of water which leads to warping. Our cutting board oil is food-safe and non-toxic so you can feel comfortable using it on a wide variety of wood surfaces.

Step 3: Seal and Protect with CLARK’S Finishing Wax

Designed to protect your wood products from liquid damage, CLARK’S Wax Finish is the ultimate line of defense. Formulated with a special blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and mineral oil, it acts as a protective barrier and brings back your wood’s natural shine and luster. Our wax is comprised of FDA approved ingredients.

Use CLARK'S Oil & Wax applicator to ensure a smooth, even application without any mess!

CLARK'S customers have been amazed by the transformation of their wood surfaces and utensils after the completion of CLARK’S three-step process. We recommended washing your wood products with CLARK’S Cutting Board Soap after each use, and following with CLARK’S Cutting Board Oil and Wax after every three to four washings, or whenever the wood starts to lose its color and look dried out.
